Group Ride Tomorrow!!!

Just a little more info about the ride:

We'll be departing from the park & ride area of the T&P train station. That's located on the south side of the station on Vickery, between south Main and Jennings. If you arrive by train, go down the stairs from the platform and turn right, or if you take the elevator turn left ( it looks like a bike will fit). If you arrive from the north via Lancaster, walk your bike through the station by the T&P Grill and then head through the passage to the park & ride.

Please be aware that this is not a formal organized ride, it's just a social gathering of bike enthusiasts. That means there won't be organized rest stops with porta-potties, orange slices, or sag wagons. If there is something you need during the ride, like tubes, we'll be stopping by a couple of the areas most popular bike shops. Keep an open mind about everything, look out for your fellow cyclists and we should have a great time.

Helmet or no helmet, street clothes or Lycra that's up to you.

The plan is to eat at La Familia, however if by some chance we have more than a handful of people show up and there's not enough room, there are a couple of alternate eateries within a stones throw. There is Chimy's in the same shopping center. Just to the east, near the Trinity Park duck pond, is the Love Shack. It's a burger joint owned by celebrity chef Tim Love. I haven't eaten there yet, but the burgers are supposed to be great.

Here's a link to the route that Paul H. (a.k.a. Doohickie) came up with. There may be some road substitutions during the ride depending on traffic conditions etc. If you want to take a different route, no problem. Just be sure to meet back up at the open area on the north side of the Water Gardens when it's over.

The weather is going to be perfect for the ride tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it. Contact me if you have any questions.
