It's that time of year again. I rode for a couple of hours yesterday. After about the first mile the profuse sweating commenced and wouldn't stop until I arrived home and jumped in the shower. I hate that! I, and everybody else who lives in Texas, knows what to expect this time of year, high humidity and temperatures in the 90's, but it's still a shock the first time you get out in it. It's supposed to be in the 100s by the end of the week. You won't hear me complain about the heat until next year at this time.

Two questions: first, is that top sign intended to get those durn cyclists to slow down? Second, who does that sexy burgundy colored bike in the bottom photo belong to?
ReplyDeleteI could swear your bike is trying to chat up those Raleighs... that old dog. Uh oh, WTF attack, sorry!
ReplyDeleteYep...a bit warm out this weekend. It was like spring instantly changed to summer. The gravel roads are getting dusty up here and I'm thinking maybe its time to come to town for a stroll from refreshment stop -to- refreshment stop.
ReplyDeleteStumbled across your blog and SO glad I did!! Love it, and love that we are in the same area. I too am in the Fort Worth Area!! I am your newest follower, and cannot wait to read more. :)
ReplyDeleteOne Girl-Sorry about the delay getting your comment posted. For some reason it ended up in the spam folder which I just happend to check this morning. I've had to moderate comments recently as all kinds of weird Chinese stuff came flooding in. I hope to run into you out on the trail.
