Fort Worth Night Riders

What do you do when the day's high temperature hits 101 degrees? You beat the heat by riding at night with the Night Riders. They meet at the Chat Room Pub on Magnolia Avenue at 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights for 20 mile moderately paced rides and Sunday nights for shorter slower paced rides with stops at local watering holes. The Wednesday night rides are open to everybody while you have to be at least 21 years old to do the Sunday ride. Obviously lights are required.

The group of about 16 riders gathers at the Chat Room.

Headed out towards downtown.

Crossing under Main Street on the north side of downtown Fort Worth.

Crossing the Trinity River.

We took a break mid-ride at Gateway Park in E. Fort Worth.

What a cheerful group. This was the last photo that turned out. My camera doesn't like night shots.

  1. That's what a great bike ride is all about. Good friends and good times, getting together to bike.
