Yet another ride with no destination in mind:
It's starting to get hot around here now. It was in the low 90's and windy.
I headed east from home and made my way to the Fairmont neighborhood. I stopped at Old Home Supply on College Street. I pulled out my U-lock and realized that I didn't have the key. I left my bike unlocked but I stepped outside every couple of minutes to make sure it was still there.
After reading about the improvements to Hyde Park in FortWorthology, I stopped off to take a look for myself.
I rode straight through downtown and stopped to take this photo as I was headed down Radio Shack hill (Radio Shack world HQ is in the building on the left).
Broken spokes? Bummer! At least you got a bit of a ride in before it happened!
ReplyDeleteOther than the spokes it sounds like a good day. I was trying to think of something witty to say about your lock and the keys pictured but I gave up. That shop looks like a neat place.
ReplyDeleteBoy, if I walked into that store I'd never leave.
ReplyDeleteYea, that store is cool, but that head with the lines on it was kind of freaky!
ReplyDeleteBummer about the spokes. But that's a part of the bike life.
Great post, Myles!
ReplyDeleteThat store so reminds me of St. Louis!
Did I mention the beard looks great?
Peace :)
