The professional cycling season is getting ready to kick-off with the Tour Down Under, January 20-25. My wife is a huge cycling fan and did really well in the Versus Tour De France Fantasy Cycling Challenge and the Eurosport Fantasy Tour De France. We're going to join the Cobblestone Fantasy Cycling League this evening. It's pretty easy to get started, you pick one rider from the previous years top five rankings, then pick one rider from the sixth to fifteenth place rankings and so on until you have a complete team. The game consists of seven competitions (the classics, stage races, Giro, Tour De France, Vuelta, semi-classics, small stage races) and the combined best overall score. It's free to join but there is really no prize for winning other than bragging rights. It an entertaining way to follow the sport.
