Worn Out

I'm worn out! Work has been draining the life out of me. I haven't wanted to do anything over the last few days but drive home, eat dinner, crash on the bed and drift into a catatonic state. It's terrible. I couldn't force myself to ride, blog, print, or do anything requiring more effort than moving my eyes. I'm starting to recover. I woke up early this morning and watched stage 1 of the Giro D' Italia. That injected a little life back in me. I may actually feel up to riding tomorrow.

If you'd like to watch the Giro you can watch complete video coverage daily on Universal Sports, carried by some cable providers or stream it online. VeloNews live coverage text updates are pretty good also.

This photo of Lance's Astana team makes a great background. It's what I'm using on my computer right now.

Speaking of the Giro, I found the Italian Cycling Journal blog. It might interesting to follow during the remainder of the race.

Lance's bikes are looking a little different. You can read about the artwork here.

  1. I know where you're coming from. If you look over at my blogs, it's more of the same. Work and all the rest of it has me in a rut.

  2. Interesting bike art, but your bike strikes my aesthetic chord more. Best wishes for rest and recovery. Don't forget the short ride.

  3. Doohickie-I remember a time when I used to enjoy my career, now it's just a necessary evil. I wonder if the guys who work at Starbucks enjoy their work. Maybe it's time for a career change.

Christopher- I took your advice on the short ride. Thanks.
